Help Us Continue Our Mission

Healthy rivers. Stronger communities.

Our Mission

Protecting a Natural Treasure for Generations to Come

River Aid San Antonio is a 501c3 that relies on donations and grants to support our programs and organization. Any amount that is meaningful to you helps our mission.

Donate Today

Through your donation, we can continue our mission to protect the San Antonio River and its attached waterways through volunteer opportunities and community engagement.

Ecological Restoration

Our Ecological Restoration Program provides volunteer opportunities to aid in restoration efforts along our waterways. This program serves as a proactive solution to reducing the pollutants in our aquatic ecosystems and restoring them to their natural glory. Volunteers will learn about a variety of restoration techniques and gain knowledge on how to implement them.

Watershed Clean-Up

River Aid facilitates Clean-Ups all around San Antonio’s River Basin. We aim to address trash pollution, not only in our rivers and creeks, but also in their connected watersheds which drain their runoff into San Antonio’s creeks, streams, and rivers eventually draining into the Gulf of Mexico beyond accessibility.

Water Quality Monitoring

Volunteers receive training to serve as a participant in the Texas Stream Team program. Water Quality Monitors compile valuable data to analyze the health of our local waterways. Water quality data tracking deeps us aware of how, why, and when our local waterways are impaired.

Why People Get Involved

I love working with RASA. Their enthusiasm and ability to get a project finished expediently and expertly is so refreshing. All of San Antonio benefits greatly from their volunteer activities, so consider supporting and joining them for their next event.

We really need folks to think about the mission of Basura Bash every single day of the year. Once we do that, hopefully we can take pride in all of our creek-ways.

If River Aid San Antonio didn’t already exist - my wife and I would start the mission ourselves.
