Protecting the San Antonio River Basin Through Community Action
River Aid San Antonio brings together volunteers, businesses, nonprofits, and government partners to restore waterways, protect natural resources, and create a cleaner, healthier future for our communities.
Our Story
From One Cleanup to a Regional Movement
River Aid San Antonio began with a simple belief: when people come together to care for their rivers, they can create lasting change.
What started as local volunteer cleanup efforts has grown into one of the region’s leading environmental nonprofits. Today, River Aid partners with municipalities, businesses, schools, community organizations, and government agencies to restore waterways, improve habitat, educate future generations, and inspire environmental stewardship throughout the San Antonio River Basin.
As our organization has grown, so has our impact—and we’re just getting started.
