Celebrate monarch butterflies, pollinators, and the natural ecosystems that support them at the 10th Annual Monarch Butterfly & Pollinator Festival!

This family-friendly event invites children and adults to explore the natural world through hands-on activities, educational experiences, and interactive exhibits. Visitors can tag monarch butterflies, learn about pollinators, and even transform into a pollinator for the day while exploring an educational playland designed to inspire curiosity and connection with nature.

More than 40 educational partners will offer nature-based activities and experiences for attendees of all ages.

About the Festival

The Monarch Butterfly & Pollinator Festival brings the community together to learn about monarch butterflies, pollinators, and the ecosystems that sustain both wildlife and people. Through interactive experiences and outdoor education, the festival encourages people of all ages to connect with nature, develop a greater appreciation for our environment, and discover ways they can help protect it.

The festival is presented in partnership with Blooming with Birdie and Project Bloom and supports the Mayor’s Monarch Pledge and San Antonio’s efforts as a Monarch Champion City.

Come learn, explore, and celebrate the pollinators that help our natural world thrive!
